Constructed in 1780, the Cider Barn is one of only a handful of cider barns remaining in Somerset and is comprised of three spaces: The Barn, The Undercroft and the Kitchen Room.
The Barn space measuring 12.5m x 5.6m can host parties, lunches and dinners, bands and DJs as well as a cinema and bouncy castle!
The Undercroft is an adaptable covered space accessible to The Barn and has housed food vendors and additional seating.
The Kitchen Rooms a great overspill space for food, a bar and additional socialising away from but connected to The Barn space. The Kitchen has two ovens, a fridge, a freezer, two urns and a double sink. It has plates and cutlery for 70 people.
The Yard at Home Farm can accommodate many cars and/or food vendors.
Accessible from the huge glass doors of The Barn and The Undercoft, the Cider Barn Garden is a great overspill outdoor space. Furnish it with tables and chairs, decorate it with bunting and festoon lighting, hang lights in the big Walnut tree or simply connect it to The Wagon House. Originally home to the Home Farm wagon built in 1937, the modernised barn measuring 10m x 5.5m now provides a great additional indoor space to add versatility to your event and a conduit to The Paddock. The Wagon House lends itself well to being where bands/DJs perform or where the bar is set up.
Want a bar at your event? The Wagon House also houses the Dutch Barn Bar where the stable doors open out on to The Paddock creating the serving hatch. Hugely popular at Home Farm Fest, The Dutch Barn Bar can sell beer and cider on draught and Home Farm Events can provide staff to run it.
This great open outdoor area adds real variety and a festival feel to your event space. With views of trees up in to the fields, The Paddock can accommodate lots of people and additional attractions which have included, food vendors, additional marquees and bouncy castles.
The Dutch Barn facing The Paddock can be transformed in to a stage should your event want a band performing to give that real festival vibe.
Make use of the formal, manicured gardens at Home Farm and have your special photographs taken in the grounds. Or, venture up in to the fields for images of a more rural nature.
There are plenty of parking options at Home Farm depending on the size and the spaces your event will use.
